Bundesliga club Augsburg on Sunday confirmed that they have sold Ghanaian international Abdul Rahman Baba to Premiership champions Chelsea € 19.8 report fee.

And bonuses, the deal could exceed € 30 m - over Augsburg's budget season. The 21-year-old cost € 2.5 Augsburg Germany last year when he joined the second-tier Class A club Fuerth, who is now set to gain from a share of 25% of the Sold to Chelsea.

"Abdul Baba Rahman has developed enormously is his one year with us and made a giant leap," said Augsburg's chief executive Stefan Reuter. "It's not just a reward for his performances, but also for our work, if an international giant like Chelsea shows interest."
